Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a dynamic setting, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. All positions are paid, including internships, and prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in accordance with standard procedures
- Take orders and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items
- Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Engage with customers professionally to create a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and giving correct change
- Effective time management to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- Lone working as well as working within a team
