We are recruiting for an experienced conveyancer to join our leading residential conveyancing team.
This is a senior role and would be ideal for a professional with a proven track record in demonstrating expertise in residential conveyancing.
The successful applicant will already be an experienced conveyancer successfully managing their own caseload of 25 new files per month. To ensure your success in this role, you will be supported by an assistant, shared secretary and post registration clerk, as well as a wealth of knowledge shared by the residential team.
Responsibilities
- To deliver high quality client service.
- Comply with AML and risk policies.
- Help the team to meet financial targets.
- Work efficiently alongside other members of the team.
- Build client and internal communication skills as well as building new client relationships whilst maintaining existing ones.
- Work on a full case load using the case management system.
- Participate in business development.
- Build, maintain and nurture an appropriate network of contacts, referrers and business partners.
- Keep up to date with developments in the law and ensure training requirements are fulfilled.
What we are looking for
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience working with a full case load of 25 new instructions per month and using a case management system.
- Customer focused with good communication skills.
- Technical skills to cover a freehold house sale all the way through to transfer of parts for developments, shared ownership leases, rural properties with septic tanks, solar panels and everything in between.
