Now Education are currently working with a Primary Schools in Spark Hill that are looking to secure additional support staff/ learning support assistants to join their teams.
This current post would initially be for the beginning of the academic year with a view to potentially becoming permanent for the right candidate. This position is Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30pm and would be full time, however due to additional support needed across the school we are willing to consider part time applications at this time.
An ideal candidate would have experience in schools, or have experience supporting students or young people in different settings. Students that require additional support at school could have a variety of different needs including; Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger Syndrome, Hearing Impairments, Visual Impairments, Challenging Behaviour, Social Emotional and Mental Health issues, Severe Learning Difficulties or profound and multiple learning difficulties. We are happy to accept applications from specialists in these areas as well as candidates that can be fluid and flexible supporting across these needs.
As the school supports students with a variety of different needs they are welcoming applications from candidates that have experience outside of school based settings.
