As a Public Services Course Team Leader you will demonstrate the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning as well as a destination focused experience that will enable our public services students to succeed in the ever-changing world of work. In addition, you will be required to maintain and develop course management to ensure the academic and holistic support of the students, enriching their experience using data to support you.
The successful candidate will have direct experience in at least one of the key uniformed services and preferably hold a relevant degree. You will deliver student success through effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual learner needs as well as the expectations of employers and manage each student in their journey through their qualification.
Our Public Service courses offer learners a wide range of opportunities to explore and understand the various employment prospects within our uniformed services and demonstrate an understanding of the demands and expectations that come with such careers.
We work closely with employers to help them engage with and invest in talent development in ways that will support the local and national economy. The Active Industries team have worked hard to develop outstanding relationships with local employers, enhancing the teaching and learning experience. The successful applicant will have an innovative approach to teaching and will have a shared passion for success. Giving our students real life learning opportunities to ensure they are well equipped for their chosen career path.
We are gathering interest from those in the core Uniformed Public Services who wish to make a move in to teaching or those that are currently in a similar teaching role. Milton Keynes College has several opportunities to support this curriculum area and we need your expertise!
