Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor/Security to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, maintaining order, and implementing loss prevention strategies. Prior experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or first aid is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Use CCTV systems to observe and record activity within the venue
- Implement loss prevention measures by observing suspicious behaviour and intervening when necessary
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if required
- Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring procedures
- Valid first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon appointment
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
