Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or janitorial roles is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to the highest standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained in pristine condition
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- A positive attitude and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning duties
