Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating construction projects and preparing accurate cost estimates. Part-time or full time considered.
Duties:
- Analyse project drawings and specifications to calculate material, labour, and equipment requirements
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overhead costs
- Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing
- Develop project budgets and timelines in collaboration with project managers
- Provide cost control support by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role within the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour
