Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe environment
- Support meal service by plating dishes, serving customers when needed, and ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or restocking needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen work within a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
- Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues effectively
- Previous experience serving customers or supporting front-of-house activities is a plus but not required
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn new skills in food service
