Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Scientist specialising in Medical Devices to join our innovative research and development team. In this role, you will drive scientific exploration, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical device technologies.
Duties
- .· Act as main R&D resource in key projects within the R&D program, from concept to market.
- · Work closely with the technical, regulatory, project management and marketing teams
- · Support customers and drive new ideas through scientific and development activities
- · Identify and research technologies that could contribute to the development of new products and be able to promote internally through excellent scientific and business acumen.
- · Where required organize and conduct laboratory work as per current laboratory guidelines
- · Act as an example of current best approach on research and development
- · Accurately inform in a timely manner information to allow decisions on day to day activities to ensure project delivery within agreed timescales and communicate
- · Act as R&D lead for internally and externally driven audits related to projects.
- · Ensures project documentation are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- · Delivery of key projects within the approved strategy
- · Effectively manage multiple projects/programmes and priorities
- · Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- · Minimise exposure and risk on projects

- · Lead proposal efforts including completing project scoping
- · Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
- · Effectively communicate relevant project information and business opportunities to senior management.
Qualifications
- Possess a degree (or equivalent) in a science based subject
- Previous experience in the medical device industry
