We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to come and join our busy butchery department as a butchery assistant.
Battlefield 1403 is a family owned farm shop & café situated just north of Shrewsbury. The butchery is central to our operations providing a wide range of locally sourced meats. This is an exciting opportunity and full training and development will be provided so no experience is required. However a keen willingness to learn and work hard is necessary, as is a general interest in butchery and good quality meat. The right candidate must be comfortable in a customer facing environment, be organised, well presented and possess good communication skills.
This is a weekend position with additional hours often available during busy periods, (Summer, Christmas etc).
As well as learning a trade, we provide a friendly working environment (daytime hours only), and discounts on farm shop purchases.
We are looking to fill this role from late August/early September.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
