At Sharp Technical Ltd, we deliver high-quality electrical and mechanical works across the UK, specialising in social housing, commercial and new build developments.
We have secured a 5-year social housing contract, providing long-term, stable work — and we are now looking to strengthen our team with experienced electricians.
The Role
This role is focused on a long-term kitchen and bathroom programme across the Midlands area, carrying out electrical works in social housing properties.
You will be expected to work independently, manage your own jobs, and deliver high-quality work in line with programme deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Full electrical rewires and upgrades within void properties
- Testing & inspection (EICRs, certification, fault finding)
- Identifying defects and completing remedial works
- Working efficiently to meet programme targets
- Ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and health & safety standards
- Completing all certification and job documentation accurately
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Gold Card (ECS/CSCS)
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- Proven social housing experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong testing, inspection, and fault-finding experience
Desirable
- Experience working on large-scale programmes
- Ability to manage workload and work to targets
- Professional approach when representing the business
