Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. If you are a skilled sheet metal worker who takes pride in turning raw sheet into proper, accurate parts the old-fashioned way — by skill, not guesswork — you’ll fit in just fine.
Hours: - Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:30 - Fri: 07:30–14:00
Holiday: 20 days + 8 bank holidays
Duties
- Sheet metal fabrication using TIG and MIG welding
- Working from drawings to produce accurate, clean work
- Operating fabrication workshop equipment
- Experience using press brakes and/or laser cutting machines is preferred
- General workshop duties and assisting the team when needed
Experience
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication
- Solid understanding of sheet metal work
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Forklift experience is an advantage
- Someone who turns up on time, works hard, and cares about doing the job properly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
