Job Summary
Anglian are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Demolition Supervisor to lead and oversee demolition projects from start to finish. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of demolition activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications and regulations. Your leadership will drive the successful completion of projects while managing teams, schedules, and resources effectively. Duties
- Lead and supervise demolition crews, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans
- Manage detailed demolition schedules coordinate labour and machinery to ensure that timelines and resource allocation for projects are met.
- Monitor daily operations on-site, providing guidance and support to team members while maintaining high safety standards
- Conduct site inspections regularly to assess progress, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Manage procurement of equipment, materials, and permits necessary for demolition activities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate progress, resolve issues, and adapt plans as needed
- Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, conduct toolbox talks, and lead incident investigations when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven management and supervisory experience in demolition or heavy construction projects with a strong supervisory background
- Hold a relevant CCDO card qualification Red CCDO or Gold Card CCDO Demolition Supervisor
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and demolition techniques
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project demands and troubleshoot issues proactively
