Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and energetic Floor Supervisor to oversee the areas within our play center, including the play areas, cafe, party and admission area. The role involves ensuring the safety of all participants, providing assistance and guidance across multiple activity zones, and creating a fun, engaging environment for children and families. During quiet times, the Play Supervisor may also assist in other areas of the center, such as supporting the café, admission area or helping with parties and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children and ensure safety across all play zones..
- Enforce safety rules and assist with equipment use.
- Provide guidance and encouragement to children, promoting confidence and enjoyment across different activities.
- Perform regular safety checks on equipment and play areas.
- Respond promptly and calmly to any incidents or emergencies.
- Provide clear instructions and ensure proper use of all play areas.
- Assist in other areas of the center during quiet times, including:
- Supporting the café with light duties such as serving refreshments.
- Helping with party setups, supervising party activities, or cleanup.
Requirements
- 1 YR experience of supervisory or leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have good customer service and people skills
- Ability to remain patient, positive, and focused in a busy environment.
- Flexibility to assist with various duties around the center as needed.
- First aid certification (preferred).
Schedule
Part time or Full time Roles available.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, has a passion for creating safe and fun play environments, great customer service and is flexible in supporting multiple areas of the center.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
