Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Kitchen and Bedroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation and fitting of kitchens and bedrooms, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help transform spaces into functional, stylish, and comfortable environments for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and attention to detail to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
- Measure, plan, and prepare for kitchen and bedroom installations with accuracy and efficiency
- Fabricate, assemble, and install cabinetry, fixtures, and fittings using hand tools and power tools
- Fit units securely, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and finishing touches for a polished look
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work as needed to ensure appliances and fixtures are fully functional
- Perform masonry or carpentry tasks required for structural adjustments or custom fittings
- Handle heavy lifting safely while transporting materials and components on-site
- Carry out construction painting or touch-ups to enhance the overall appearance of installed spaces
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or similar roles within the construction or renovation industry
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, roofing techniques, plumbing systems, masonry work, and electrical experience is highly desirable
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, or specifications accurately
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks safely
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and finishing processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance
- Valid relevant certifications or training in carpentry, joinery, plumbing, electrical work or construction-related fields is preferred
Must have own tools and be confident in fitting Kicthens and bedrooms.
