We're looking for an experienced Full-Time Supervisor to join our friendly, hardworking team at The Boat Inn, Chepstow - a busy riverside pub with a large outdoor terrace, serving great food, quality drinks and a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading by example.
What we're looking for:
- Previous supervisory experience in a busy pub, bar or restaurant is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service with a passion for hospitality.
- The ability to motivate and support the team during busy service periods.
- Experience opening and closing the business, cash handling and ensuring high operational standards.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Your responsibilities:
- Supervising day-to-day pub operations.
- Leading shifts and supporting the management team.
- Delivering outstanding customer service.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
- Training and developing team members.
- Helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
