Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality skills whilst ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Prior experience in a similar setting is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Westbourne Grill House is a very busy restaurant known with it's top quality steaks. 2-3 evenings a week and experienced in Fine dining / table service. Shifts will be Tuesday to Saturday. 6PM to 10-11PM.
Please note that this is a permanent role, candidates needs to be available to work in Christmas ( December) and summer season Jun-july-August.
Pay will be £14.00hr ( Please Note we work with Job centre)

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met during service.
- Clear tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains tidy throughout service.
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving issues swiftly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide accurate information to guests.
- Support other team members during busy periods and contribute positively to the overall team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience with guest services, upselling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness will be advantageous.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
