Quality Lab Technician
Location: Elsham Wold Industrial Estate, Brigg, DN20 0SP
Pay: £13.95 per hour, progressing to £14.50 following completion of successful training period (averaged pay of 42 hours per week) + overtime (time and a half, double time Sundays/bank holidays)
Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

The Role
As a Quality Lab Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all film produced on site meets required customer specifications and quality standards.
Working as part of a busy manufacturing team, you’ll be responsible for testing materials, recording results, and supporting production to maintain consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality testing of film to ensure it meets customer specifications
- Ensure all products meet required quality standards across production
- Maintain full traceability in line with company standards
- Accurately complete all laboratory documentation and test records
- Perform thorough testing of lab samples and report any issues
- Support production operatives with material testing when required
- Follow all company Health & Safety rules and procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual, with a positive work attitude
- Own transport (due to rural location)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to accurately record and document information
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or lab-based role desirable
- Willingness to work a 12-hour shift pattern
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious approach to work
