Welcome to Cardiff Veterinary Centre, an independently owned, forward-thinking small animal practice in the heart of Cardiff, with a fantastic team and state-of-the-art facilities.
We’re growing, and we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, collaborative team. Whether you’re building confidence or ready to progress clinically, we’ll support your journey every step of the way.
The Role
This is a full-time, 40-hour role across a 4-day week, with a 1 in 6 weekends and best of all, no night work.
We’re proud to provide independently owned 24-hour care, supported by a dedicated OOH team, so your work-life balance stays exactly that: balanced.
Your day-to-day will include:
- First-opinion small animal consultations
- Routine and non-routine surgery
- Medical case management
- Emergency cases
- Working alongside a genuinely supportive, experienced team who love what they do
What We’re Looking For
- Veterinary degree (MRCVS)
- RCVS registration
- Confident in routine small animal medicine & surgery
- Comfortable with emergencies (or keen to grow your confidence)
- Based in England or Wales — or happy to relocate
- A team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humour
