The role requires working closely as a team with the Housekeeper/Cook, particularly when the Family is in residence and when there are guests. Flexibility will be required accordingly.
Duties include:
1. House security for Family residence including liaison with police and security firm as required.
2. Family residence house inspection and repairs when within qualifications. Ordering oil and other supplies as required for Family residence. Liaison with other trades, Estate family and Estates’ Management for other repairs and maintenance work for Family residence.
3. Minor repair work and maintenance to Stables including attendance during shooting parties.
4. Attending to requirements of Estate family, family driving, transporting guests, etc. and carrying out other duties as directed.
5. Informing Estate family, Managing Director or Estates’ Management as appropriate of any breakages/repairs/renewals.
6. Support to Housekeeper/Cook at Family residence including moving furniture and pictures and specialist cleaning jobs.
7. Support at functions at residence such as serving drinks and assisting guests where required.
8. Cleaning and routine running checks of Family cars.
9. Checking on security and environmental management equipment of classic cars.
10. Basic equine support such as feeding, manure collecting, stable and tack cleaning
11. Support to gardening staff as required.
Pay: £35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
