About Us:
New Lanark Leisure & Wellness Club, part of New Lanark Mill Hotel offers a wide range of fitness and leisure facilities catering for residents and non residents. Our mission is to provide exceptional service and a welcoming environment for all our leisure members and guests. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Leisure & Wellness Attendant to join our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests feel welcome and valued.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all areas of the health club, including the gym, pool, changing rooms, and communal areas.
- Safety and Supervision: Oversee the safety of guests using the facilities, offering assistance and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Management: Regularly check and maintain fitness equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Pool Duties: Monitor poolside activities, enforce pool rules, and perform lifeguard duties (if qualified).
- Member Support: Provide guidance and support to members on the use of equipment and facilities.
- Administrative Tasks: Receive calls, make bookings, manage the spa diary, and handle general administrative duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Essential:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High standard of personal presentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Desirable:
- Previous experience in a leisure or health club environment
- First Aid certification
- Relevant fitness or leisure qualifications
