Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hot Tub Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hot tubs and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and equipment repair, with opportunities to demonstrate leadership in technical tasks. Responsibilities
- Install new hot tubs and associated equipment on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal operation of hot tubs
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including pumps, heaters, jets, and control systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations
- Lead small teams during installation or repair projects when necessary, providing guidance and ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and parts used
- Collaborate with clients to explain maintenance procedures and answer technical questions
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise or guide team members effectively
- Experience in air conditioning systems or construction is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to hot tubs is desirable but training can be provided
