Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care within our facility, ensuring that all residents receive the support they need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing home settings You will work closely with the management team to foster a positive environment for both staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care. And to provide Clinical oversight and Clinical supervision for the nurse team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff, promoting professional development and adherence to care protocols.
- Engage with residents and their families, addressing concerns and enhancing their experience within the facility.
- Monitor the health and wellbeing of all residents living at Kingsthorpe View.
- Participate in case management activities, coordinating care for individuals with complex needs.
Skills
- Proven experience in nursing homes.
- Strong team management skills with a focus on collaboration and support.
- Experience working with adults.
- Knowledge of anatomy and patient care principles.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Proficient in medication administration protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
