Renfrewshire Carers Centre is a one stop shop for unpaid Carers operating in Renfrewshire for 30 years. We are a charity established by Carers for Carers and have developed a range of services to support carers in their caring role and provide opportunities to have a life outside of caring.
Our Digital Media Officer will be responsible for overseeing digital content workflows, maintaining contents management systems(CMS), coordinating with technical teams and ensuring that all digital media assets meet brand, accessibility and quality standards. This role blends technical capability with creative awareness and requires strong digital asset management experience and excellent organisational skills.
Main responsibilities:
- Digital Content Management -Maintain and update websites, intranet and digital platforms using CMS tools; ensure accuracy , consistency and timely publication.
- Carers Hub - Catalogue, tag and archive digital media (images, videos, documents) using digital asset management systems.
- Platform Administration - Manage user permissions, trouble shoot CMS issues, and coordinate with IT for system updates.
- Quality Assurance - Review content for accuracy, formatting, accessibility compliance and brand alignment before publication.
- Analytics monitoring - Track performance metrics, generate reports and support data-driven decision-making.
- Technical support - Troubleshoot issues related to digital platforms, liaise with IT and support staff with training.
- Version control - Maintain structured version histories for digital files and ensure proper documentation.
