The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities across the Company’s security, logistics and commercial cleaning services. The role will focus on expanding the client base, developing strategic business relationships, securing new contracts and increasing revenue from existing and prospective customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the security, logistics and commercial cleaning sectors through market research, networking, referrals and direct client engagement.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing commercial clients, understanding their operational requirements and recommending appropriate service solutions.
* Generate qualified sales leads, arrange client meetings and site visits, and deliver presentations explaining the Company's security, logistics and cleaning capabilities.
* Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, tenders and service packages in conjunction with operational teams, ensuring proposed solutions meet client requirements and commercial objectives.
* Negotiate pricing, contractual terms and service arrangements with prospective clients to secure commercially sustainable new business.
* Manage the business development pipeline, maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, proposals, negotiations and contract outcomes.
* Research target markets, competitors and industry developments to identify opportunities for business expansion and new service offerings.
* Develop account growth strategies for existing customers, identifying opportunities to introduce additional security, logistics or commercial cleaning services.
* Maintain regular contact with key clients to assess service requirements, strengthen commercial relationships and support contract renewals and retention.
* Work closely with operational managers to ensure new contracts can be effectively mobilised and that commitments made during the sales process are commercially and operationally achievable.
* Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, contract values and business development activity, preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior management.
* Represent the Company at business meetings, networking events, industry events and prospective client presentations to promote its services and develop new commercial relationships.

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,806.91 per year
