There is an opening for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding cask and craft team.
Responsibilities of a Cask & Craft Sales Specialist:
· You’ll identify, qualify and target potential customers and business opportunities.
· You’ll become the ‘friendly expert’ to key accounts.
· You’ll provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
· You’ll need to keep up to date with the latest product knowledge.
· Working with the whole sales team, you’ll develop cask and craft beer opportunities in existing HBC customers.
· You’ll be expected to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as well as contribute to the categories KPIs.
. You’ll require a working understanding of the On Trade.
. A Knowledge of the draught minerals industry.
. You will go on Field sales visits into on-trade venues on your territory.
. Negotiate prices with the customer and report back insight and information gained during your calls.
. You’ll need to use your people skills to build strong business relationships across On Trade.
. You will take responsibility for both winning new business and managing accounts.
Requirements for a Cask & Craft Sales Specialist
. You must have an interest in real ale and excellent communication skills.
. This will involve working some unsocial hours each week.
. The ability to present and close business face to face is essential.
· Right to work in the UK
· Experienced in new business sales, existing customer growth and account management
· Good Microsoft word, powerpoint and excel skills
· General administrative experience
· Ability to manage time and work to deadlines
· Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
· Able to deal with telephone queries
· Demonstrate an ability to negotiate and influence others both internally and externally
· Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Have proven experience of stakeholder management and networking to achieve results
· Experience of working to targets and deadline
