The Person
We are looking for someone who is technically minded, organised, reliable and highly accurate, with genuine experience within the window and door industry.
You should be able to take a set of construction drawings and specifications, understand what is required, identify the correct products and specifications, accurately price the work and then ensure the correct products are ordered from our suppliers.
You will need to have a good understanding of how windows and doors are specified, manufactured and installed, and be confident identifying potential issues before an order is placed.
As you will be dealing with suppliers on a regular basis, excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships are essential.
This is a technical estimating and order-processing position, so a strong understanding of windows and doors is essential. We are not simply looking for someone with general estimating or administration experience.
Experience with Window Designer and/or LogiKal would be highly beneficial, although this is not essential for the right candidate. CAD experience would also be an advantage.
