A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Goods In/Hybrid Operative with earnings starting at £13.98 per hour inclusive of shift premium. With an additional attendance bonus accrued at £45 per month (£540 per year), Payable in December.
The Goods In Operative is responsible for receiving, checking, and recording incoming materials and deliveries to ensure they meet company standards and production requirements. The role supports efficient warehouse operations and ensures stock accuracy within a busy manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload deliveries from suppliers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Check incoming goods against delivery notes, purchase orders, and quality standards.
- Accurately record deliveries in the company’s stock control or ERP system.
- Label, store, and allocate materials to the correct warehouse locations.
- Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the Warehouse Supervisor or Purchasing team.
- Ensure materials are available and supplied to production as required, ensuring good stock rotation practice.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks (where trained and authorised).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company health and safety policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with goods receiving, stock control, or inventory systems is desirable.
- Forklift truck licence (counterbalance/reach) is essential. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Basic IT skills for stock management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Holidays: 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays which will increase after 2 years’ service by one day per year, up to a maximum of 27 days plus bank holidays. Option to purchase additional leave.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 10am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 3pm but due to the nature of our production flexibility will be required due to operational demands.
