E-commerce Digital Marketing Manager

About the Role
Cake Craft is looking for an experienced E-commerce Digital Marketing Manager to lead and improve our digital marketing activity across our online business.
This is a hands-on and strategic role for someone who understands e-commerce, content planning, SEO, email marketing, Klaviyo, paid ads, influencer marketing and campaign coordination.
The role would suit someone who can bring structure to our marketing activity, plan campaigns, manage content schedules, review SEO content, coordinate with agencies, and help grow online revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across website, email, social media, SEO, paid ads and influencer activity.
- Build and maintain a monthly content and campaign calendar.
- Coordinate content creation for product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions and customer engagement.
- Review SEO content, blogs, product/category content and website copy before sign-off.
- Work with SEO/content specialists to improve organic visibility and website performance.
- Manage or oversee email marketing activity, ideally using Klaviyo.
- Support customer retention through email flows, segmentation, repeat-purchase campaigns and lifecycle marketing.
- Attend paid advertising meetings with agencies and review campaign performance.
- Track digital marketing KPIs including traffic, revenue, conversion rate, ROAS, email performance and customer retention.
- Work closely with e-commerce, product, creative and operations teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
- Help build better marketing processes, reporting and workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within e-commerce, retail, D2C, FMCG, lifestyle, homeware, gifting, baking, food, beauty or consumer products.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketing and online customer journeys.
- Experience with content planning, campaign scheduling and digital campaign execution.
- Good understanding of SEO and ability to review SEO content before approval.
- Email marketing/CRM experience; Klaviyo experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working with paid ads or paid media agencies.
- Understanding of influencer marketing or creator partnerships.
- Comfortable using GA4, Google Search Console, Shopify analytics or similar reporting tools.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional teams.
- Commercial mindset with focus on revenue, traffic, conversion and customer retention.

- Shopify experience.
- Klaviyo experience.
- Experience in product-led e-commerce.
- Experience managing freelancers, agencies or small marketing teams.
- Experience creating reporting dashboards or marketing performance reports.

Work Location
This is an office-based role. Candidates must be able to work from either our London/Barking or Birmingham office.
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
