Research Associate - Centre for Energy, Waste and Environment

The Centre for Energy Waste and the Environment, within the School of Engineering at Cardiff University is seeking to recruit a highly motivated researcher with experience in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Physics to contribute to an exciting Innovate UK project entitled PHOENIX (Pumping Hydrogen with Optimised and Effective cryogeNIX).
The role will involve conducting research within the specialist area, carrying out supporting work that helps lead to the publishing of high-quality research. To pursue excellence in research and to inspire others to do the same.
This post is full time (35 hours per week), available immediately and is fixed term until 31 December 2026.
Salary: £41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade 6). We do not anticipate appointing this position above point Grade 6, Point 32, £41,064 per annum.
