The Role
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Agricultural Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. You will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring customers receive outstanding service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide expert advice on agricultural products
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory
- Ensure the shop is well-presented and compliant with health and safety standards
- Build strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue
Requirements
- Previous retail management experience (agricultural or rural sector preferred)
- Strong knowledge of farming, livestock, or agricultural supplies
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Basic IT and stock management system skills
- Forklift certificate (preferred)
