Overview
We’re looking for a Lead Technical Support Engineer to take on a hands-on role diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. In addition to these core skills, expertise in diagnosing and repairing CAN systems, as well as AdBlue and DPF systems will be essential to succeed in this position. If you have knowledge of fabrication, that’s a bonus (but not essential).
Responsibilities
- Providing expert technical support to our engineering team.
- Training and mentoring younger team members, shaping the next generation of talent.
- Leveraging our strong network with manufacturers and engineers across the UK for technical advice and support.
- Predominantly based at our depot here in Cramlington, but you’ll need to be mobile across the UK when required (company vehicle provided).
Experience
- 10+ years of experience working with a wide range of construction machinery.
- Knowledge in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing of CAN systems, AdBlue and DFY systems.
- If you have knowledge of fabrication, that’s a bonus (but not essential).
