Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised educational/ mentoring support to students across a variety of subjects. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys, fostering confidence and a love of learning. The Tutor will work closely with children and young adults, tailoring teaching methods to meet individual needs and learning styles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in various subjects, adapting teaching strategies to suit each student’s unique learning requirements.
- Providing support to the learner as per need
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and, where appropriate, to parents or guardians.
- Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards and individual learning objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student progress.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young adults.
- Strong knowledge of core academic subjects and specialised areas such as special education needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
- Organised, reliable, and committed to supporting students’ educational growth.
- A recognised qualification in education or a related field is desirable but not essential. Pay: £24.00-£30.00 per hour
