Location: Hybrid – 3 days Pontypridd office / 2 days home-based
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

As our renewable energy operations continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Electrical Quality Supervisor to ensure our installations consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety and technical compliance.
About the Role
You'll provide hands-on quality and technical support across our electrical and renewable energy installations, including Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and heat pump systems.
Working closely with our engineering and operations teams, you'll carry out NTP quality checks, site inspections and certification reviews, identifying issues and supporting engineers to achieve right-first-time installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical quality inspections, audits and site checks.
- Support NTP requirements and maintain technical compliance.
- Review electrical installation certificates, test results and supporting documentation.
- Check installations comply with BS 7671, NICEIC, MCS and Building Regulations.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to installation teams.
- Monitor quality trends and support continuous improvement.
- Assist with NICEIC/MCS assessments and external audits.
- Maintain accurate quality and technical records.
- Promote high standards of electrical safety and workmanship.
About You
You'll have:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent.
- Experience inspecting electrical installations and reviewing certification.
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671.
- Experience in electrical installation, renewable energy or retrofit.
- Good understanding of Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital reporting systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable: NTP/NICEIC experience, MCS experience, Solar PV qualification and PAS 2030/2035 experience.
