Newcastle Home Renovations is a Ponteland-based building company specialising in new builds, extensions (including dormers), full property refurbishments, commercial renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, and a wide range of renovation works.
Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our growing team. You’ll work across a variety of residential renovation projects, carrying out both first and second fix joinery to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have solid experience, strong attention to detail, and take real pride in their craftsmanship.
Experience fitting kitchens is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of joinery, including first and second fix work.
- Install doors (including fire doors), frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, flooring, and other joinery elements.
- Work from drawings and specifications to ensure precision and quality.
- Assist with general construction tasks where required.
- Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and materials.
- Keep a tidy, safe, and well-organised working environment at all times.
- Follow site health & safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements / Person Specification
- Proven experience as a joiner in residential or renovation projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual work.
- Full UK driving licence, own transport, and own tools essential.
Hours & Pay
- Full-time position.
- Hours and pay in line with experience and company standards (DOE).
