Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient consultations, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions with evidence-based approaches
- Administer medications safely and appropriately, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines
- Perform or oversee diagnostic procedures such as medical imaging and laboratory tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care, especially in nursing home, hospice, and home care settings
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Engage in clinical research projects or public health initiatives as required
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and healthcare assistants
- Stay updated with the latest medical developments and integrate new knowledge into practice
Skills
- Proven experience in general practice with a strong foundation in patient care
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to general medicine
- Experience in specialised areas such as ICU, senior care, hospice care, or home care is advantageous
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and public health principles
- Competence in interpreting medical imaging results and administering medications accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with diverse patient populations
- Organised approach to managing multiple cases efficiently under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional independence
