Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 3:00pm (Every Friday Off!)
Contract: Full-Time (24+ hours per week)

About Orchardlea Foods
Orchardlea Foods is a long-established, family-owned food wholesaler based in Exeter, supplying a wide range of chilled, frozen and ambient foods across the South West.
Alongside wholesale distribution, we prepare, slice, cut and pack many of our own products in-house, supplying hundreds of businesses throughout the region.

What You'll Be Doing
As part of our warehouse and production team you'll be responsible for:
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Working with chilled (approximately 80%), frozen (15%) and ambient (5%) products
- Labelling and packaging products using our in-house weighing and labelling systems (up to 800 items per day)
- Replenishing warehouse stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Following Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety procedures
- Working independently while also supporting the wider warehouse team
No two days are exactly the same, so you'll enjoy a varied role with plenty to keep you busy.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in doing a good job.
Essential
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Basic Maths and English
- Physically fit and able to work in a chilled warehouse (approximately 4°C)
- Comfortable lifting and carrying products throughout the day
Desirable (but not essential)
- Food Hygiene knowledge
- HACCP awareness
- COSHH awareness
- Forklift licence
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
