Core Responsibilities:
- Stock Accuracy: Maintain accurate stock levels both within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and physically on the warehouse floor. Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies promptly.
- Replenishment: Ensure picking shelves are maintained at agreed minimum stock levels to prevent pick failures and unnecessary downtime.
- Stock In: Receive, check and put away incoming goods, ensuring quantities, products and SKUs match the relevant delivery paperwork.
- Stock Out: Process all outbound goods accurately and on time, including stock transfers, returns and dispatches.
- Cycle Counts: Carry out daily and weekly cycle counts within assigned areas, accurately recording results and reporting any stock variances to Operations Management.
- Housekeeping: Keep aisles, racking, storage locations and working areas clean, tidy, organised and clearly labelled. Report any damaged racking, pallets or storage equipment immediately.
- Health & Safety: Follow all manual-handling, PPE and equipment-use procedures at all times. Identify and report any hazards, near misses or unsafe working conditions without delay.
- Communication & Handover: Complete clear end-of-shift handovers, highlighting stock issues, shortages, discrepancies and any outstanding tasks to Operations Management.
