Could dog fostering fit around your working day?
For many people, the main barrier to fostering a dog is being out during the day. That is exactly why this volunteer dog fostering role exists.
We are looking for volunteer dog fosterers who can provide a safe, calm home for one of our dogs in training during the evenings, overnight, and on some weekends.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to live in Congleton or within around a 30-minute drive of our head office at CW12 3LN. This is because you will need to collect the dog in the evening and drop them back the following morning. Day care is provided from our Congleton head office.
There is no cost to you. We provide food, vet care, toys, equipment, and holiday cover.
Dog fostering placements usually last between 2 and 6 months.
This role offers the companionship, routine, and affection of a dog in training, while giving that dog a supportive home environment outside the working day.
We also have puppy fostering opportunities available for people based elsewhere in England, outside of the 30-minute radius. Puppy fostering is usually a longer-term placement, often lasting around 6 to 9 months.
Whether you are fostering a dog in training during evenings and weekends, or helping raise a puppy for the longer term, you will be giving them a safe, supportive home environment as they prepare for their future role.
