About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Project Support Administrator to assist engineering and project teams with documentation, data entry, scheduling, reporting, and general administrative activities.
You will update project records, prepare routine documents, maintain spreadsheets, organise files, and help ensure project information is accurate and readily available.
Previous engineering experience is not required. Training on company procedures, project documentation, and internal systems will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update project information in company systems
- Maintain project spreadsheets, registers, and administrative records
- Prepare routine project documents, reports, and correspondence
- Organise electronic files using established document procedures
- Assist with document numbering, filing, and distribution
- Update project schedules and action trackers
- Record meeting notes and maintain action lists
- Monitor outstanding documents and administrative requests
- Check records for missing or incorrect information
- Support preparation of project progress reports
- Maintain contact and supplier information
- Assist with purchase requests and routine project paperwork
- Coordinate meetings and project-related appointments
- Respond to routine internal information requests
- Scan, upload, and archive project documents
- Handle technical and commercial information confidentially
- Support engineers, project managers, and administrative colleagues
- Assist with general office duties when required
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, data entry, retail, or office support is helpful but not essential
- Applications from school leavers, career starters, and candidates changing industries are welcome
- Previous exposure to engineering, construction, or project environments is beneficial but not required

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Education
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred
- A university degree is not required
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or a related subject are beneficial but not essential
- Relevant practical or transferable experience will be considered
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
