Job Summary
We are seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex needs. The role involves providing person-centred support to help individuals live fulfilling, independent lives within residential homes, supported living services, and community settings.
Support is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including day shifts, sleep-ins, waking nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality person-centred care and support.
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, dressing, bathing, and continence care where required.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and nutrition.
- Support individuals to access community activities, education, employment, and social opportunities.
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion at all times.
- Administer medication in accordance with company policies and training.
- Maintain accurate care records and daily notes.
- Support individuals with mobility needs using appropriate equipment where necessary.
- Assist with healthcare appointments and liaise with healthcare professionals.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately.
- Work in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and company standards.
- Contribute to risk assessments, care planning, and reviews.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and homely environment.
Essential Requirements

Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience in health and social care.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (particularly for domiciliary care roles).
