Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in care home and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with medication management in accordance with care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervisors
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalised care
- Support clients with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning
Skills
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating records
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
