Dental Treatment Coordinator
Sutton Dental & Implant Clinic is looking for a confident, commercially minded and highly organised Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, patient-facing sales and conversion role. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting new enquiries into booked consultations, following up open treatment plans, guiding patients , providing finance illustrations and options along with accurately tracking and reporting performance.
Previous dental experience is not essential but would be an advantage. We are looking for an exceptional communicator with strong sales ability, excellent IT skills and a professional, polished approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert incoming telephone enquiries into booked consultations
- Proactively follow up new leads and patients who have not yet booked on our CRM system
- Manage open courses of treatment and convert treatment plans into booked treatment
- Build strong relationships and rapport with prospective patients
- Understand patients' motivations, concerns and barriers to treatment
- Confidently discuss treatment fees and available finance options
- Follow up higher-value treatments, including dental implants, orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry
- Maintain an organised pipeline of leads and treatment opportunities
- Accurately track each patient's progress throughout their treatment journey
- Record reasons for patients not proceeding with treatment
- Monitor enquiry-to-consultation and consultation-to-treatment conversion rates
- Produce regular statistics, reports and performance data for management
- Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Work closely with clinicians and the wider team to provide an exceptional patient experience
- Liaise with Referral practices on referral patients
Essential Skills & Attributes
The successful candidate must:
- Be highly presentable, with a polished and professional appearance appropriate for a patient-facing environment
- Speak and write English fluently and professionally
- Have an excellent and confident telephone manner
- Have strong sales and conversion skills
- Be comfortable discussing high-value treatment and fees
- Have excellent IT skills and be confident learning new systems
- Be competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Be comfortable working with spreadsheets, statistics, data analysis and reports
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups
- Be confident working towards targets and KPIs
- Be proactive, self-motivated and accountable for results
- Be personable, approachable and able to build trust quickly
- Be persistent and consistent with follow-up without using pressure-based sales techniques
Dental Experience Is Not Essential
This role is primarily focused on patient treatment sales, lead conversion, relationship management and data rather than clinical dentistry. We would welcome applications from candidates with experience in areas such as:
- Consultative or high-value sales
- Dentistry background with sales experience
- Business development
- Private healthcare or aesthetics
- Luxury hospitality or customer service
- Other target-driven, customer-facing sales environments

TreatmentThe successful candidate will be expected to understand their numbers and provide regular reporting on lead volumes, conversion rates, open treatment opportunities, treatment value, lost leads and reasons for non-conversion.
HoursThis is a full-time position working:
- Monday: 8:30am – 5:45pm
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 5:45pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am – 6:45pm
- Thursday: 8:30am – 5:45pm
- Friday: 8:15am – 2:15pm
Salary
The rate of pay is negotiable and will be dependent on the successful candidate's experience, skill set and ability to demonstrate the qualities required for the position.We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a proven ability to convert enquiries into sales, manage a pipeline effectively, analyse performance data and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
