Schedule:
We have a bank position available and are looking for a dependable employee who is interested in growing in their career. This will be to cover staffs annual leave and sick days. The working hours vary from 4, 10 and 14 hour shifts. I need someone who will be flexible to cover day and night shifts.
Personal Care Assistant
My care is quite complex due to having Duchenne muscular dystrophy and also being on a ventilator through a tracheostomy. Therefore, I require 2 carers 24/7. I'm looking for someone who will fit in well within my care team. Care experience would be ideal but isn't essential as training will be provided by my care team.
Position Summary:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and assistance. The personal care responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Personal Care
- Assisting with day to day living
- Meal Preparation
- Adminstering Medication
- Chest Physio
- Tracheostomy Care
- Pressure Management
- General Cleaning
Required Skills:
·Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels within the organization and outside of it
·Ability to work well under pressure.
·Ability to work well with others in a team setting as well as independently
·Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations including the public, residents, family members, staff, etc.
