This flexible position offers you the opportunity to work alongside the owner (initially), delivering high-quality cleaning services that leave spaces spotless and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal in diverse settings
- Maintain a consistent cleaning schedule tailored to each client’s needs and preferences - some tidying is required
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and eco-friendly products to ensure effective results while prioritising safety
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and address any special requests
- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
- Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Uphold confidentiality and respect clients’ privacy during all cleaning activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or similar roles is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking (for some client-specific needs), customer service experience, or previous hospitality background
- Reliable transportation to access various job sites within your designated area
- A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
