We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse to join our friendly team at Blue Windmill Nursery in New Bilton, Rugby.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys supporting young children through warm relationships, meaningful play and engaging everyday experiences. You will help create a welcoming environment in which children feel secure, valued and excited to learn.
The role
Working as part of an experienced nursery team, you will:
- provide attentive, nurturing care throughout the nursery day;
- support children’s learning and development through play and planned experiences;
- build secure and positive relationships with children;
- observe children’s interests, progress and individual needs;
- contribute to planning and maintain appropriate development records;
- work in partnership with parents and carers;
- follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures;
- support children’s personal care, mealtimes and daily routines;
- help maintain an inviting, organised and stimulating environment; and
- work closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care.
You will also take responsibility for a small group of key children, helping to monitor their progress and ensuring that their individual needs are understood and supported.

A recognised Level 3 early years qualification or above is required. Applications may also be considered from candidates working towards an appropriate qualification or those with relevant early years experience.
