Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and professional environment. Applicants must be registered with the appropriate governing body and hold relevant nursing qualifications. Prior experience in a similar setting is desirable, along with a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met with compassion and professionalism
- Administer medication accurately and safely, following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures
- Monitor patient conditions closely, recognising any changes that require medical attention or intervention
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, promoting independence where possible
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatments, and observations in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans
- Uphold infection control standards and health & safety regulations at all times
- Support patients’ mental health needs, providing reassurance and emotional support as required
Experience
- Proven experience working as an RGN or RMN in a clinical or care home setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care
- Experience administering medications safely in accordance with healthcare guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and compassion

Pay: £28.00-£40.00 per hour
