About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a growing manufacturing company in the Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary, long-term stability, and opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality MIG welding on a range of steel products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare, assemble, and weld steel components to the required standard.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area while following health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively as part of a production team to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a MIG Welder working with steel.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Welding qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
