Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver holding a valid 7.5 tonne CPC licence. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of customer vehicles between various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and collections. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, experience with commercial vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for collection and delivery of vehicles to designated locations normally within a 30 mile range with exceptions.
- Driving vehicles or using a 7.5 tonne slideback low loader when necessary. Assisting with vehicle valeting on occasions as required.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, maintaining accurate documentation and collection/delivery records.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Experience
- Experience as a vehicle transportation driver, preferably within a motor trade environment would be preferable.
- Demonstrable knowledge of truck handling and securement techniques is advantageous.
- Valid 7.5 tonne CPC licence is essential; additional certifications in driving or logistics are desirable.
- A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction is required for success in this role.
Pay: £32,000.00 per year
