We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in North West London. You will be assisting the warehouse management team to ensure that the warehouse is efficiently and effectively running which will include overseeing day to day operations as well as the onsite team.
What you will be required to do
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, providing clear direction and feedback.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the warehouse team.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Support, assist and develop the Health & Safety culture within the warehouse to ensure all staff endorse a safe working environment.
- Ensure that the warehouse environment is well maintained, clean and organised.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to identify and action individual and team training needs.
- Carry out necessary Health and Safety checks and ensure compliance to all protocols within the warehouse.
- Assist with the stock team and stock management to manage inventory levels and assist with stock audits and rotation.
- Carry out stock management tasks including taking in stock and deliveries, dealing with returns, replenishing stock and any other tasks that may be required.
- Pack and prepare orders as required.
Experience and skills required
- Minimum of 2-years experience working in warehouse or similar role.
- Team management experience desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Able to use own initiative in situations.
- Attentive and strong attention to detail.
